Hall-Bakker Decorative Arts are a husband and wife team who have been interested in the Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts, Art Deco and Modernist movement for the past twenty five years. In 1974 we purchased a vase which we discovered to be by William de Morgan. Soon after we became aware of the vast array of designers, artists, factories and manufacturers who forged and developed new and individual styles during the last two decades of the nineteenth century and the first few decades of the twentieth century. From that time we have focussed and extended our knowledge across a wide range of items of that period.

We aim to offer a wide range of post 1880 British, Continental and, occasionally, American Decorative Arts. A good proportion of our stock consists of original Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts metalwork, but we also feature a good range of art pottery, art glass, some jewellery and small furniture. All our items are authentic and are guaranteed to be as described.

We have been located in the Thames Valley / Cotswold area for a number of years and have established a reputation as one of the leading specialist dealers of this period in this area.

Fairs: Throughout the year we exhibit at a number of important quality Antique Fairs (please click here for dates and details).

Shop: A small selection of our stock is always on display in a dedicated showcase at Heritage of Woodstock (full information about Heritage, opening hours and location, can be found on their web site - click on Links). Heritage is an associate member of TVADA (click on Links).
